EXTENSION TASKS FOR IBH2
THE FINAL TWO WEEKS and IBH2
1. Set up your own individual Moonspaces English B web site. I will provide you with a user name and log in.
a. Personalize the site so that it says something about you as a person and as a language learner
b. Begin wide reading for our next option topic, "Leisure", by locating at least 2 thought provoking articles or other resources linked to one of the aspects of leisure listed on the "Leisure Topic" page. Provide a link for each resource on your web site and then write a brief (120-150 word) blog entry which states the most important idea you found in the resource and your opinion about it.
2. Select one of the ideas you found while completing your wide reading and prepare a short, shiny presentation (2-3 minutes) expressing your opinion about it and where possible making connections to your own life and the lives of your classmates. Practice using Oral Presentation ( see The Oral Presentation advice) format in preparation for your internal assessment next year. Presentations Friday 31st May.

4. Test your present vocabulary level at : http://www.er.uqam.ca/nobel/r21270/levels/ and then record on your web site under the heading "My Vocabulary" the level you are scoring 80% plus in.
